a Nailer and may have been a grandson or similar relation to Samuel (snr).

Samuel, was listed as a Printer/compositor.

BIOGRAPHY: John is listed on the 1851 census with his sister, Ruth, and
cousin, Samuel Jennings DAVEY. Each was unmarried. They lived at 8 Great
Frederick St, Cardiff. 1851 census -- H0107/2455/151/-

BIOGRAPHY: John is listed on the 1881 census as living at Lord Treadecars Office, Roath, Glamorgan, Wales

"Lord Treadecars office" appears to be in the area of 14 Pearl St, Roath.
By 1881 he is listed as a retired nailmaker.

Bannatyne" in 1849, according to the NSW Immigration Indexes. But, their
daughter, Mary, was christened in 1848 according to the NSW BDM Indexes.

BIOGRAPHY: Also, linked to this family somehow is Lucy Mooringe BOSWARVA, who
married John JOURNEAUX in 1869 in South Australia. The registration was in
Victoria and is 1869/3771.

Certificate shows age at death as "70 years, 11 months, 28 days" - this would
mean he was born in July, not August. ??

BIRTH: According to the QLD Death Index his mother was Louise Pauline BECHT.
However, I have found that Louise Pauline BECHT didnt marry Charles' father,
William FIFOOT, until 1911 - when Charles was 65 years old. (Just six years
before he died).

OCCUPATION: School Master (as per death certificate). From the Springsure Centenary Supplement

Concerning the "Springsure State School"
Mr Freeman became headmaster in 1890 and continued until 1894 when he was
succeeded by Mr W M Gower
Mr Gower was succeeded by Mr Fifoot, a kindly old gentleman whose pupils did
not always appreciate his many fine qualities.

DEATH: Charles died at the Springsure Hospital
Cause: Haemorrhage, Encephalitis, Intra-cranial pressure, Respiritory &
cardiac failure. Duration - 7 months, 1 day. Medical attendant - Dr W.
Silkie Brown
Charles Athrudst FIFOOT's will was witnessed by William Fisher, a saddler of
Springsure; and Letitia HAGEN, a spinster of Springsure, Qld, Australia.

BIOGRAPHY: According to death certificate, was in Qld for 41 years at death.
Therefore, he arrived when about 30 years old (1876). About six years after
he married in 1870.
